VERY good pictures from the last Tour de France.  Not so good, but fun pics at the Comic-Con 2009. 600 hundred of them. And a tiny but good looking prefab home in Denmark.

Olafur Eliasson creates art from a palette of space, distance, color and light. Pretty interesting. Francis Bacon at the MET. Invisible flashes of infrared and ultraviolet light points to a smarter way to take photos in the dark.

July 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I often have to deal with this issue, why is buying wine online cheaper than going to the store or placing a phone order? An interesting minute-by-minute account of a day in the life of my favorite wine importer. How is the luxury wine market doing during the recession?

July 17, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Oh New York…There’s a little bit of everything and there’s a map to find it.  Check this map of New York City’s new generation of pizza restaurants. Here’s one for bikers. And obviously, there is one with all the bars offering happy hour specials. I love the name: Mappyhour.

How  16 electronics companies got their names. This is very cool! A short film titled “HP Invent” featuring a symphony of inkjet printers. Confused? Check this out. A New Hampshire man was charged over 23 quadrillion dollars for a pack of cigarettes.
